"The Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) is an undertaking of Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of Andhra Pradesh (ALEAP) registered under Society Act in 1997. The majestic and sprawling campus is located in ALEAP industrial estate near Kukatpally, Hyderabad, AP, INDIA. ALEAP was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam, the then President of India."
About CED
Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) is an innovative and creative venture of ALEAP in the direction of promoting entrepreneurship in our country. ALEAP is an exclusive women organisation facilitating women to become employers besides being producers and contributors of national economy in a significant way. Within five years of founding, ALEAP released the need for starting a centre to train women & youth in entrepreneurship.
The prospective entrepreneurs and existing entrepreneurs need more interaction with successful entrepreneurs and their firms to understand entrepreneurship and have confidence to start their own enterprises. Training is needed to expose youth and women to new technologies . Awareness camps are required to be conducted in schools and colleges to inspire young people to choose Entrepreneurship as an alternative to Employment.
Training programs are a source of information for Entrepreneurial development. As a result, the initial teething problems could be envisaged, addressed and the desired outcomes of the business are quickly achieved.
CED helps prospective and existing entrepreneurs with the following services:
- Imparts the skills for becoming successful entrepreneurs
- Provide information from supporting government departments & financial institutions
- Provide assistance in project preparation and presentation to the bankers
- Arrange interactions with successful entrepreneurs
- Arrange factory visits
